If your SoloCam S340/E30 solar panel is either not charging or charging the camera slowly, it may be due to the installation location of the camera’s solar panel. This article is designed to provide recommended installation locations for the camera’s solar panel to ensure the solar panel can maximize its functionality.

It is recommended to install the camera’s solar panel in the following locations:

1. A wall without eaves.

2. A pole or fence that is exposed to direct sunlight.

3. Top of eaves if the eaves are less than 3m/10ft high.

On the other hand, please do not install the camera’s solar panel in the following locations:

1. Indoor or a covered porch.

2. Trees that have shade blocking direct sunlight.

3. Under eaves.
