Rain Mode is a feature that, when enabled, detects rain contacting the keypad. If rain is detected for longer than 35 seconds, all sounds will be disabled for 30 minutes to save power and prevent unnecessary noise. If motion is detected, or if someone is present, Rain Mode will not engage.

What happens in Rain Mode?

• When Rain Mode is engaged, all sounds will be disabled, including:
  • Beeps from pressing the keypad.
  • Sounds from the Wrong-Try Protection feature.

How can Rain Mode be disengaged?

• Automatically—Rain Mode automatically ends after 30 minutes. If Rain Mode conditions are detected again, Rain Mode will engage again.
• Manually—Rain Mode can be manually disengaged by:
  • Using a correct fingerprint to lock or unlock.
  • Entering a correct passcode to lock or unlock.
  • Using the app to lock, unlock, or calibrate the device.
  • Manually locking, unlocking, or using a key.
  • Ringing the doorbell.
