The camera looks for changes in your room by image identification, such as someone walking into view. So it knows when to send you a mobile notification with picked out different kinds of activity, making the alerts you receive even more meaningful.

The eufy’s Motion Detection algorithms come with the camera without using cloud-based service to keep your data private and secure. When recording with the camera, our local Motion Detection algorithms can look for different kinds of activities.

The software will try to ignore false positives from things so that the camera only sends alerts when something notable happens. For advanced algorithms to fine-tune its Motion Detection, stay tuned with the latest version of

Performance of Detection varies in different scene situations, your feedbacks lets us more easily update and refine it over time.

About sensitivity setup

1. The default sensitivity level is the 3rd level and detects a person only. If the system is unable to detect a person, please turn up the sensitivity to a higher level. If you want to monitor other motions, you can select the type you want to monitor.
2. If the system has detected much unnecessary detection, please turn down the sensitivity to a lower level.
3. If there are still too many unnecessary motions, you can set activity zones to filter the unnecessary motion that occurs in the area you do not focus on.
