Upgrading Existing Features: Expanding Your Storage

Edge Security stores video recordings locally on the HomeBase’s built-in storage without any monthly payments. With an expandable storage up to 16 TB, it allows you to save a lot of video recordings. Once your video doorbell joins Edge Ecosystem, HomeBase (HomeBase 3) supports storing video recordings from your eufy video doorbell. It is highly recommended to utilize the expandable storage on your HomeBase 3 to store even more video recordings from your cameras.

Smart AI Features

Video Doorbell Dual currently supports AI face recognition and AI package detection. Upon integration with HomeBase 3, additional AI capabilities will become available. Specifically, the face recognition function will be accessible through the HomeBase 3 function page (Edge AI), rather than the Video Doorbell Dual settings menu.

Note:

• If a new device is added to HomeBase 3, all data will be stored on HomeBase 3.
• If a device that was previously connected to HomeBase 2 is switched to HomeBase 3, the old data will remain on HomeBase 2, and the new data will be saved on HomeBase 3.
• Human recognition will not work if the AI function is disabled on HomeBase 3.
