Error Authenticating (Incorrect Password)

Modified on Fri, 21 Jul, 2023 at 9:55 AM

The message "Error authenticating: incorrect password for the Wi-Fi" usually appears if the entered password is wrong.

Show Password While Typing

To ensure that the frame registers the characters correctly while typing the password, you can press the eye_icon.png icon next to the password field.

This will make the password visible while typing and allows you to double check that the password is entered 100% correctly.

Double Check Password

It can be hard to remember WiFi passwords since they often consist of random words, letters and numbers. If you are not 100% sure that the password you're entering is correct, we recommend that you get in touch with your Internet Service Provider and ask for their assistance.

Restart the Frame

Although it sounds simple, it's often overlooked. Please try to restart the frame.

This will ensure that it has the best possible conditions for connecting to your Wi-Fi.
