If you are unpacking your E-Scooter for the first time, just follow these steps below to setup your new ride.

1. Unbox all the necessary parts and documents.
2. Remove any plastic, cardboard and Styrofoam into the appropriate disposals
3. Raise the E-Scooter arm upwards andd securely fasten with the folding mechanism.
4. Insert the handlebar into the stem, making sure that the headlight is facing forward.
5. Install 6 screws into the neck of the handlebar with the provided hexagon wrench.
6. Open the charging port cover, connect the scooter to a power outlet and wait for the battery to charge fully.

Activating your E-Scooter:

Once your E-Scooter is fully charged, follow this guide below to get it activated and connected to the app.

1. Search up "NIU E-Scooter" on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and download the NIU app
2. Press the power button to turn on the scooter and ensure that the Bluetooth icon is flashing.
3. Click "Device Binding in the NIU app, then find your scooter at the bottom
4. Click on the scooter icon and follow the prompts
