Why does the eufy Security app need my location permission when setting up eufy Video Smart Lock?

Normally, only Android smartphones will ask for location permission in order set up your eufy Video Smart Lock.
When your Android device is running Android 6.0 or newer OS, the app needs your device’s general location to access BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices.
Please rest assured that this data will not be saved, it is only used to establish a secure connection between your smartphone and the Video Smart Lock during the setup process.
