Pixbee 4G & 4G Pro - Geofence zone feature
Modified on: Wed, 16 Jul, 2025 at 3:15 PM
A geofence zone is a virtual boundary set by you around a designated area on your map. Say your watch-wearer is going to the park with their friends. Maybe you’re a little apprehensive. Bring up the map on the Pixbee App, find the park’s location, set a red boundary around its outside perimeter, and rest assured you will get a notification from Pixbee if your child leaves this zone.
- Tap the map ping icon on the right side of the Location Maps screen to open the Geofence settings.
- Tap the '+' on top right corner to add a new Geofence.
- Zoom into the map to find the address you require for your geofence. Press down on the screen for 3 seconds to change the marker on the map for the new address.
- In the 'Enter Zone Name' section, enter the name of the geofence you want to set up, such as Evie's School, Nan's House, Basketball Training, etc.
- Use the slider to set the metre distance you want the Geofence to be (300m - 2000m)
- Select whether you want to be alerted when the watch (and its wearer) enters or exits the Geofence zone.
IOS Users:
Tap the circle button next to 'Alert when entering Safe zone' and 'Alert when leaving Safe zone'. If selected, they will have a green tick in the box.
Android Users:
Tap the arrow next to 'Alert when enter Safe zone' and 'Alert when leaves safe zone'.
Tap 'Finish' in the top right corner.
Tap 'Confirm' to finalise your geofence
