Mounting the monitor:

Find a mounting surface where the monitor can easily be seen inside the car and does not obstruct your vision wen driving.

  1. Clean and dry the mounting surface before fixing the suction mount.
  2. Press the bracket against the mounting surface.
  3. Slide the monitor into the bracket.
  4. Insert the monitor car charger into the 12V/24V DC power supply.

Mounting the camera:

Choose from the two options below to mount your camera:

License plate mounting:

  1. Remove the rear license plate from the vehicle and ensure to keep the original bolts/screws.
  2. With the plate off, check if there is a pre-existing hole through which the cables from the camera can be passed through to the boot of the vehicle. If there are no pre-existing holes, carefully drill a hole of sufficient diameter to allow the cables to be passed into the interior of the vehicle and eventually seal with silicone.
  3. Carefully align the bracket arms so that the edge of the arms aligns to the top edge of where the license plate would sit and old it in place making sure that 2 holes in the mounting bracket align with the mounting holes of the license plate.
  4. Refit the license plate over the camera bracket using the original bolts/screws.
  5. You can adjust the angle of the camera by moving the camera up and down, loosen and tighten the screws to fix the desired angle.

Stand-alone mount:

  1. Remove the camera from the license plate mount using a screwdriver.
  2. Attach the removed camera to the stand-alone mount using the screws removed from the license plate mount.
  3. Select a flat and centered location near the number plate lamp at the rear of the vehicle to mount the camera.
  4. Attach tape to the bracket of the camera and drill a small hole for the first screw.
  5. Use a screwdriver to fix the first screw but don't tighten it yet.
  6. Insert camera wire through newly drilled hole and mount securely in place.
  7. Mark the position suitable for the second screw and drill a small hole for it.
  8. Fix the second screw and tighten both screws.

Wiring Installation:

  1. Connect the red wire of the camera power harness to the wire that supplies power to the reversing light globe. Use a splicing/crimp connector or strip connector. Ensure to insulate the joint with electrical insulation when done.
  2. After you have insulated the joint, connect the power harness to the camera.
  3. Some cars that run LED or computer-controlled lighting systems may not deliver enough voltage to run the camera. If the voltage at the reversing light is less than +12 volts, it may be necessary to use a relay to supply power to the transmitter harness from the wiring in the front of the car.
  4. Connect the black wire of the camera power harness to a ground earth wire or to the body of the car using the steel of the car body behind the kick trim as an earth. In this case, drill a small hole and connect the wire using a suitable ring terminal and ensure you scrape off any paint.
