Video Smart Lock Failed to Record Video

If the Video Smart Lock failed to record video, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.

1. Make sure your Video Smart Lock is turned on. (Device Tab > “...” Icon > Gear Icon > Settings)


2. Enable the Motion Detection feature in your Video Smart Lock settings. (Device Tab > “...” Icon > Gear Icon > Settings > Motion Detection)


3. Adjust the motion detection distance. (Device Tab > “...” Icon > Gear Icon > Settings > Motion Detection > Detection Distance)


4. Verify the Video Smart Lock has been calibrated by making sure the door is closed and the lock is able to calibrate successfully.
