eufy Indoor Cam Failed to Record Events

If your eufy Indoor Cam or Indoor Cam Pan & Tilt failed to record events, please try the following troubleshooting steps to verify if the issue can be resolved.
Storage Methods
In order to save video recordings, eufy Indoor Cam or Indoor Cam Pan & Tilt will need to have one of the following storage methods activated.
- A Class-10 micro SD card (16GB to 128GB) inserted in the camera.
- An active eufy cloud backup subscription.
- An active Network Attached Storage (NAS).
Camera Settings
Please verify the following settings have been enabled and correctly configured for the camera to record events.
- Camera is turned on: eufySecurity app > Devices tab > Camera Settings > Camera On.
- Camera’s motion detection types have been configured and a proper sensitivity level has been set: eufySecurity app > Devices tab > Camera Settings > Motion Detection.
- Camera’s sound detection types have been configured and a proper sensitivity level has been set: eufySecurity app > Devices tab > Camera Settings > Sound Detection.
- Camera’s working mode has been configured to record videos: eufySecurity app > Security tab > Home/Away mode > the Record Video checkbox has been selected.
Note: Please verify the camera is not in Disarmed mode as it will not detect or record any events.
