What is the Find Hub network? And how does it work? (Android)

Find Hub network provides an easy, secure way to locate compatible personal items on a map using the Find Hub app on your Android phone or tablet. Simply pair your compatible product with Find Hub app to view it right alongside your devices. If your item ever goes missing, you can put it in Lose Mode to display a message and contact information to anyone who might find it. The Find Hub network is encrypted and anonymous, so no one else, not even Google, can view its location.

What is the Find My network? And how does it work? (Apple)

The Apple Find My network provides an easy, secure way to locate compatible personal items on a map using the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or other Find Items app on Apple Watch. Simply pair your compatible product with the Apple Find My app to view it right alongside your Apple devices. If your item ever goes missing, you can put it in Lost Mode to display a message and contact information to anyone who might find it. The Find My network is encrypted and anonymous, so no one else, not even Apple, can view its location.

When can the device be located?

When a linked item is not with you or lost, it can be found by other Android or Apple devices that are part of the same network.

How does the device discourage unwanted tracking?

If the network accessory is separated from its owner and is seen moving with you over time, you'll be notified in one of two ways.

1. If the accessory is a part of the same network as your device, you will receive a notification to your device to alert you. This feature is only available for:
   • Android 9 or later
   • IOS 14.5 or later
2. If the accessory is not a part of the same network as your device, the tag will emit a sound when it's moved to alert you.

These features are inbuilt to ensure that the Pixbee Smart Tag cannot be used to track people without their knowledge.

How long does connection take?

Times may vary between different devices and environments, 30 to 90 seconds is a normal guideline for connection time.

Can I add/setup multiple tags at the same time?

No. Only set up one tag at a time. Having multiple tags in pairing mode close by at the same time may result in delays or connecting an incorrect Smart Tag.

Can I monitor more than one tag on the Find Hub app on my phone?

Yes, multiple Smart Tags can be located via your phone.

How is my privacy protected?

Only you can see the location of your Smart Tag. Both networks use advanced encryption to ensure that no one else, not even Google or Apple, can view the location of your Smart Tag.
