Two-Factor Authentication for the eufy Baby App

Modified on: Wed, 10 Dec, 2025 at 11:22 AM

The purpose of enabling two-factor authentication is to protect your eufy Baby account from any unauthorized access.

What is the logic of the verification code when 2FA is enabled?

1. Verification Code

  • Email by default. Registering your mobile phone number to receive a code via text message is optional.

  • A six-digit code that expires after 5 minutes.

  • If the verification code is sent multiple times, the old verification code can still be verified within the validity period of 5 minutes.

2. Trusted Devices

After enabling two-factor authentication, trusted devices can log in without entering the verification code.

  • If you log in again with a device that has not been added to the list of trusted devices or haven’t logged in for 30 days, you will need to enter the verification code. The verification code is sent by email by default.

  • If you log in with a device that has not been added to the list of trusted devices or after the log in token expires, you will need to enter the verification code again. The verification code is sent by text message by default.

  • Trusted devices can only be configured on mobile phones.

What if I turn off 2FA?

1. The trusted phone and phone number will be cleared.

2. Uninstalling the app on a mobile phone does not affect the two-factor authentication setting or the list of trusted devices. However, deleting the account will disable the two-factor authentication setting.
